Using A Weight Loss Calculator For Effective Weight Loss
How to use our simple weight loss calculator without the need to do any more calculations.
Our weight loss calculator does a superb job of making things simple and easy. When you first begin the arduous task of trying to lose weight you can get bogged down in all the figures, facts and calculations.
It’s all quite simple really.
To use our free weight loss calculator take the following steps:
- Step 1: Enter your current weight in pounds where it says “Current Weight:”
- Step 2: Enter your desired weight in pounds in the box where it says “Goal Weight”.
- Step 3: Press the button that is labelled “Calculate”
How does our calculator work and what do you do with the figures it gives?
It works by using a simple calculation that dictates that:
Calorie deficit = 3500 * number of pounds to lose.
So let’s imagine you enter in 200 pounds for current weight and 154 calories for goal weight.
You end up with needing to lose 46 pounds and a calorie deficit of 161,000 calories.
The question is now, how fast can you cut out 161,000 calories in a SAFE and PROVEN way?
You could change your diet and reduce your intake by 300 calories a day (replacing those calories with nourishing healthy foods of a lower calorie type). This equates to 2100 calories saved each week and would mean that you’d achieve weight loss after 76 weeks.
You can boost this enormously with exercise and even healthier options, genuine diet pills and proven diet plan or slimming gadget. When you look at it in a simple way like this you can see what is needed, and how many calories less to eat.
How does the formula work?
Well, simply if you eat more calories than you burn, then you gain weight. 3500 calories equates to about 1 pound of fat so you need to burn 3500 calories more than you take in, in order to lose 1 pound of fat.
Get it wrong, and you’ll lose lean tissue, muscle and fat, and this is not healthy.
- Simply skip high calorie foods that have low nutritional options.
- Swap your high calorie foods for lower calorie options
- Reduce your portion sizes.
